2015 End of year reflections
Overall, from this year I have definitely enjoyed having Miss Cooper. EOTC week was a memorable time of the year for me. I have so much more to list though. I am looking forward to the Netherlands and the snow!! There are going to be lots of cheeses and different licorice types. I have improved a lot in writing. Now I enjoy it! I think I have gone higher in reading because I have done many more tests and nearly made it to nr 20. There are too many best parts in this year. Thank you Miss Cooper!!

Term two reflections
Hello!!! The term is nearly over and I am going to reflect about it.
I am most pleased with all of the posts that I have posted on this blog because I have really enjoyed doing them and my Mum and Dad have complimented on them.
This term I have really enjoyed being in maths extension and would love to be in it for the rest of the year because I think maths is just a lovely talent that I have.

I thought that sometimes choosing a subject for the squiggle story was difficult because sometimes people had done things that I just couldn't find any picture straight away in my mind or book.
I think I need more help in not getting distracted when I a needing to do my work. E.g. when people laugh I might look up and start talking.
I would love to do more science and art because I just love both things the same. I would also like to do them more because I like experimenting and I am arty and crafty.
I really enjoy doing our colouring page and blog writing. To add to our list I would probably do Poem writing.

Goal reflections reading
I have improved on my reading goal which is to expand my vocabulary. I am understanding more words and I help with the crossword that my family does in the newspaper. I am also keeping a word wall in my reading book.
Goal reflection Key Competency
My Key Competency goals are Lead and Follow and tidy writing. My writing is getting better, but I think I can get closer to my achievement than where I am now. I showed my Mum my new handwriting and she thought it had gotten better. I have also improved on my lead and follow goal because I am not being bossy, but I am also not always letting other people do what they want without me agreeing.

Goal reflection writing
I have achieved my writing goal because I am adding language features in my writing more and my parents and Miss Cooper say that I am getting better at writing. I think they say that because I like writing more and am achieving a higher level of writing.
Goal reflection Maths
I have improved in converting between fractions, decimals and percentages because I understand it more and I have been practicing on mathletics. Mr Ratcliffe had given us some questions and I kept getting them right.

EOTC Week After Reflection
Hi,
Now that EOTC Week is over we have a little reflection.
Here it is.
1. How are you feeling after EOTC week? Explain.
I am very well tired but at the same time I am quite sad because now I have to wait one whole year. In year six we will be going to camp.
2. What did you enjoy most during EOTC week? Explain.
My favourite thing in EOTC Week was Youth Town. It is Youthtown because we did all the activities I have wanted to do.
3. What was your least favourite thing about EOTC week? Explain.
My least favourite thing was the marae because I do not like gardening and the grass/weeds that we had to pull out were really painful for my hands.
4. Tell us about something new that you learned.
I learnt how to shoot a bow and arrow and that the string is really strong.

EOTC Week is over!!
Now finally, after a long and tiring five days EOTC Week is over. I am a little upset as well as relieved. But now that I have done all the activities I have been able to choose my favourite day and guess what it is? If you got it right you will have said Youth Town. When Youth Town came we did different activities and I have two favourites. My first one is Problem Solving and the other is Archery. Those bow and arrows are quite heavy for me!!! Now we can use these cool as teamwork activities to do some more learning in the classroom. If you have any other favourite activities or days then please comment here below!!

3. What are you not so excited about in EOTC week? Explain.
I had been really excited for the sleepover because it would have been my first time camping ever in my whole entire life. But my Mum said we would go camping in our back yard at the end of either term one or term two. That is what I am not so excited about.
4. Is there any activity that has you feeling a bit anxious/worried? Explain why.
4. Is there any activity that has you feeling a bit anxious/worried? Explain why.
When we go to Rangitoto we are going into some caves. I can tell they are going to be dark because the list of what to bring says to bring a torch. I am not such a fan of caves and the dark.
5. In Room 32 we are working on managing ourselves - that means being responsible and making good decisions. Tell us how you could make good decisions and be responsible during EOTC week.

I could try and help everyone that needs help and look after myself. When I say that I mean not injure myself in the caves or anywhere.
6. Make 3 goals for EOTC week. They could be simple goals like I will listen to my team leader or
they could be something like I will take care of my belongings.
I will do what my helper says and do the right thing. I will help anyone that needs help. I will try not to get too hyper and excited.
